Visten Construction Group was co-founded in April 2026 in Wichita Falls, Texas by Duane Holloway and Sherri Helms Holloway. Co-founder Duane Holloway has spent 35+ years building custom and energy-efficient homes across North Texas, and the work shown on this site is his.

That is the whole picture, stated plainly. We would rather you knew exactly what Visten is than read a founding story that flatters us. What we can put behind your build is three and a half decades of field experience in foundations, ICF walls, framing, systems and finish work — plus a pricing model that shows you every dollar as it is spent.
Background
Duane’s Experience: 27 Years of ICF
Duane has 35+ years in construction, and he has been building with ICF for 27 of them. He did not start there. Before ICF he did extensive remodeling work and was building highly energy-efficient homes. Chasing that efficiency is what led him to insulated concrete forms in the first place.
Eight of those years he worked directly for ICF manufacturers — seven years with one, one year with another — training the manufacturers’ new customers how to build with ICF. He was already building with the system before he ever worked for a manufacturer. He trained the entire installation crew for the first 11-story ICF building project in Florida. The work has taken him internationally as well, including projects in Ireland and Belize. Put plainly: he has spent years teaching other builders how to do this correctly.
He served as Vice President of Operations at Holloway Company for several years. He was the owner and operator of Holloway Construction. He spent a year as a superintendent for a home builder. He has consulted on many ICF projects.
He and Sherri started Visten because he got tired of watching people get taken advantage of. Energy costs are not going to go down, so the better a home needs to be built. He wants to build homes that actually give the owner a payback.

The three of us split the work along the lines of what we each actually know. Sherri handles the numbers and keeps the open-book pricing honest. Duane is in the field, where the building happens. Ann carries design and operations, from the first drawings through the day-to-day of the build.

Sherri Helms Holloway
Co-Founder & CEO
Sherri holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Midwestern State University, where she spent 30 years — 13 and a half in the university Business Office, six and a half as University Bursar, and ten in International Outreach. As Bursar she was accountable for the money: what came in, what went out, and whether the records held up to scrutiny. That is the same standard she brings to Visten’s open-book, Cost-Plus pricing — so the promise clients hear is one the company actually lives by.

Ann Bradley brings a rare combination of design expertise, construction knowledge, business acumen, and a distinguished background in law enforcement and firefighting to Visten Construction Group. Her diverse experience has cultivated a meticulous eye for detail, strong leadership, exceptional problem-solving skills, and an unwavering commitment to service. As Director of Operations & Design, Ann seamlessly bridges the creative and operational sides of homebuilding, guiding clients through a highly personalized experience from initial vision to final detail. Her philosophy is simple: exceptional homes are built through exceptional attention to detail, craftsmanship, and client relationships.

Joshua Bradley
Plan Draftsman
Joshua brings an artistic eye and careful craftsmanship to Visten, shaping custom homes through a blend of creativity, precision and design intent. He works with a strong command of proportion, balance and timeless aesthetics, so a plan is both visually considered and buildable.
His approach is rooted in intentionality and longevity. Joshua designs spaces that move naturally and function with clarity, and he doesn’t chase trends — he makes decisions that strengthen the architecture, improve daily living and hold their value over time.

Four things we will not compromise on
These are not wall-plaque values. They are the reasons we turn down work.
Energy efficiency, not as an upsell
Building the most energy-efficient home a budget allows has been the focus of Duane’s work for decades. The wall assembly is where that gets decided, so that is where the attention goes.
Build it like it is ours
We build the wall assembly we would want our own family behind when the sirens go off in April. That standard does not move for a budget conversation.
Say the true number
Open books, real allowances and one agreed builder fee. If a plan and a budget cannot meet, we say so before anyone pays a designer.

Why we build in North Texas and southern Oklahoma, and nowhere else
We could chase work far outside our towns. We do not, because the thing that makes a Visten house a Visten house is that Duane is standing in it while it gets built. Suppliers know our accounts. Inspectors know our work.
We build in Wichita Falls, Iowa Park, Burkburnett, Archer City, Henrietta, Electra and across Wichita County, and north across the Red River in Lawton, Duncan, Ardmore and the rest of southern Oklahoma, because these are our towns. When you call with a question, you get Duane — not a service portal and not a voicemail box.
It is a smaller business than it could be. It is a much better one.
